The Village Hall AGM will be on Friday 9th January at 6.30 pm. If you've used the Hall in 2025, or would like to be with us during 2026 and have comments or "creative ideas" please join us and hear a review of the year and future plans. Burns Night Supper

7:00pm, Saturday, 24th January

Gather with us and enjoy a traditional Burns night feast showcasing the best of Scottish culture to honour the immortal memory of Robert Burns. ‘Piped in’ as you arrive, you will be invited to enjoy a three-course meal of Scottish classics, featuring the ceremonial address to the haggis , ‘Toast to the lassies' and of course a wee dram of whisky.

Follow this and dance the night away with music from Spike Island .

Bursledon Village Hall is managed by volunteers in a Charitable Trust offering flexible facilities for clubs, business meetings and social events. We have a premises licence and excellent disabled access.

About the Hall

Bursledon Village Hall is a beautiful Edwardian building, with a traditional village hall ambience, nestled in the heart of Bursledon village in Hampshire. It offers flexible facilities for clubs, business meetings and social events, and has a premises licence and excellent disabled access.

The Main Hall and "Mrs Moneypenny's" professional standard kitchen are suitable for many types of events ranging from catered parties, theatre, concerts, and dance to flower shows and art exhibitions.

The Anna Harvey Room - a charming room suitable for smaller gatherings that benefits from its own entrance and basic kitchen facilities while also serving as an annex to the Main Hall. Upstairs to The John Sneezum Room - this light and airy meeting room takes advantage of the large window overlooking the recreation ground which has children’s playground facilities.

Hiring the Hall

If you would like to book the Village Hall, first check availability using the up-to-date Calendar. If you can find a suitable date and time please familiarise yourself with our charges and terms and conditions of hire. You can then use the Booking Request form to submit your request.

Activities

Bursledon Village Hall plays host to many ticketed activities throughout the year. We have theatrical performances from local amateur dramatic groups such as the Artisan Theatre School, Bursledon Players and Greyladyes Arts Foundation. We host the popular 'Bursfest' music festival, quiz nights, wine tastings, themed dances and shows for children. Most of these events raise money for the essential upkeep of this historic building and it is through your support, and the support of the Friends of Bursledon Village Hall, that the hall is available to continue to provide a vital focal point for the local community. Thank you!
